Frederick J. Kennie was born on March 25, 1922. His third and last wife was Beulah Ruth Tice Umholtz .

Frederick served in the 334th Bomb Squadron, 95th Bomber Group, as a Co-pilot on the #4230273 'Patsy Ann III,' which he became a POW on Mission to Munster, Germany, during World War II. He completed seven missions and attained the highest rank of Lieutenant Colonel during his service. He died on January 17, 2017, at the age of 94, and is now buried in the Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego, San Diego County, California, USA.
