Herman B. Larson was born on October 21, 1918. He served in the 328th Bomber Squadron, 93rd Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Staff Sergeant and Engineer/Top Turret Gunner of the B24J #42-110033 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on March 29, 1944, when his airplane collided with the B24H #41-28590 and crashed into Henham, England while leaving for a raid over Germany. He is now buried in the Oneota Cemetery, Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota, USA.
