Charles Arthur Peck, aged 25, was born on April 30, 1919, in Stockton, California. He was the son of George Dewey Peck and Mollie Murphy Bickford. He was married to Evelyn Eudora Squires Dunlap.
Charles enlisted on February 20, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky. He served in the 705th Bomber Squadron, 446th Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Sergeant and Gunner of the B24 42-51116 'Nature's Nymph' in World War II. He was Killed in Action on June 7, 1944, when the aircraft he was aboard crashed into Rumburgh, England. He is now buried in the Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, United Kingdom.
