William Harvey Money was born on February 7, 1909. He was the son of William Benson Money and Rebecca Louada Laster Money. He was married to Stella Spainhour Williams.
William served in the 66th Regiment, 2nd Armored Division, as a Corporal during World War II. He died on September 20, 1944, in Belgium, at the age of 35, and is now buried in the Little Elkin Baptist Church Cemetery, Ronda, Wilkes County, North Carolina, USA. Cpl Money was one of the 65 soldiers killed in battle during the liberation of the Limburg region of the Netherlands and Belgium.
