He is sometimes confused with 1st Lt. Martin Rabinowitz who was listed missing in action, on Jan. 31, 1944, in Italy and was assigned to the 6th Armored Infantry Division. Marker states he was in the 6th Armored Infantry. He was actually in the 7th Armored Division.
