Alphonse Parise was born on December 17, 1906. He was assigned as Cook (Military Occupation Specialty 60) in Company B, 48th Infantry Battalion, 7th Armored Division during World War II. His last duty was in the vicinity 2 1/2 miles NE of Ospel, Netherlands, on November 5, 1944. He died in the British 86th General Hospital in Eindhoven. He is now buried in the Saint Francis Cemetery, Torrington, Litchfield County, Connecticut, USA.
