Donald Holden Stott was born on 15 February 1917 in Ilion, New York. He served in the 434th Fighter Squadron, 479th Fighter Group, as a Lieutenant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on 16 April 1945 when his P-51 44-14629 'Shoo Shoo Baby' crashed near Reicherasburg, Austria. Lt Stott is now buried in the Mount Hebron Cemetery, Montclair, Essex County, New Jersey, USA.
