Albert J. Davis was born on November 11, 1921, in Ogden, Utah. He was the son of Byron A. Davis and Vivian L. Chatterton Davis.
Albert served in the 335th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group as a Captain during World War II. On March 21, 1945, his aircraft, P-51D #44-63670 "T-Wang", was struck by flak while strafing 2 miles north of Hesepe, Germany. He died when he bailed out at a low altitude of 50’.
Cpt Davis is now buried in the Aultorest Memorial Park, Ogden, Weber County, Utah, USA.
