Frank Hill Bouldin, Jr. was born on September 13, 1920. He was the son of Frank Hill and Wynnie Ruth Greene Bouldin. Frank Hill, Jr. was a fighter pilot during World War II. His cadet pilot training was at Pacific Training School, Gibbs Field, Ft. Stockton, Texas. He was assigned to the 352nd Fighter Squadron of the 353rd Fighter Group, whose task was to support bombers during missions over Europe. He first flew a P-47D named "Miss Mary Marie," then a P-51D named "Dallas Doll," which was named after Miss Christine Crisp of Dallas. He flew thirty missions and completed his tour in January 1945.
Lt Bouldin died on August 8, 1990, at the age of 69, and is now buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA.
