Brian Michael Connelly was born on September 14, 1982 in Long Branch, New Jersey. He served in 40th Engineer Battalion, Task Force 1-6, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division in Baumholder, Germany. CPL Connelly died on February 26, 2009, at the age of 26, of wounds sustained when his vehicle was struck by an explosive device. He is now buried in the Forest Green Park Cemetery, Morganville, Monmouth County, New Jersey, USA.
