Reyes Ramirez was born on February 26, 1987 in Willis, Texas. He was a graduate of Willis High School and joined the Army when he was 18. He was assigned to the 40th Engineer Battalion, Baumholder, Germany. Ramirez was killed when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee during combat operations in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. He is now buried in the Garden Park Cemetery, Conroe, Montgomery County, Texas, USA.
