When Harry Howard Mcpherson was born on November 9, 1919, in Kidder, Missouri, his father, Harry, was 32 and his mother, Mary, was 34. He had two sisters. He served as a First Lieutenant in the 352nd Fighter Squadron during World War II. 1LT McPherson died in a plane crash in Hamburg, Germany on July 24, 1943, at the age of 23. He is now buried in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, USA.
