James Andrew Kintner was born on June 4, 1923. He was the son of Gay Andrew Kintner and Viola Maureen Traxler Kintner. He served in the 86th Troop Squadron, 437th Troop Carrier Group as a Second Lieutenant during World War II. 2LT Kintner was killed with F/O Hatcher in an accidental plane crash in Pierre-Levee, France. 2LT Kintner is buried now in the Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, Macon County, Illinois, USA.
