Comments:
Donald E. Bradley entered the military service in California. He served in the 83rd Squadron, 437th Troop Carrier Group as a Major and Pilot of the C-47 Skytrain #42-100877 during World War II. He died from serious injuries one hour later after they attempted to retrieve a Horsa glider that had broken free in a practice mission on March 11, 1944. Major Bradley is buried now in the Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, United Kingdom.
