Donald E. Lundgren was born on February 6, 1923. He served in the 323rd Bomb Group as a Sergeant during World War II. He died on January 20, 1945 at the age of 21. He was temporarily buried in what was then the American Cemetery in Münsingen, Switzerland. His final resting place is in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA. His date of death on his headstone is inscribed January 22, 1945.
