Charles J. Huling was born on January 2, 1925. He served in the 553rd Bomber Squadron, 386th Bomber Group, Medium as a Radio Operator and Sergeant during World War II. He was killed in action during the Battle of the Bulge on December 29, 1944 at the age of 19, when his plane was shot down over Trabson, Turkey. SGT Huling is now buried in the Colony Cemetery, Fairhope, Baldwin County, Alabama, USA.
