Paul Arthur Narrow was born on November 4, 1921 in New York. He enlisted in the Army in Ogdensburg, NY Dec. 1, 1940 and received basic training at Fort Hamilton New York, and assigned to airborne infantry. PFC Paul Narrow was a member of the 503rd Parachute Infantry during WWII. His right arm was injured in Africa, he was sent to England to recover for a year then sent to the Pacific area as a paratrooper. PVT Narrow was Killed in Action on February 22, 1945 at the age of 23, during the battle for the recapture of Corregidor, Philippines against the defending Japanese garrison on the island. He is now buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Norwood, St. Lawrence County, New York, USA.
