PFC Brown died on April 25, 1945 and is now buried in the Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines. He was one of the American paratroopers who fought successfully on Battle for the Recapture of Corregidor, Philippines against the defending Japanese garrison in February 1945.
