Jack R. "Bones" Watts was born on December 30, 1922. He graduated from San Jose technical high school and studied at San Jose State college. Jack served in the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 27, 1944 at the age of 21 during the liberation of Eerde, The Netherlands and is now buried in the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, San Mateo County, California, USA.
