Frank Walter Danielson was born on June 21, 1919. He served in the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division as a First Lieutenant during World War II. Frank was Killed in Action on September 19, 1944 at the age of 25 and is now buried in the Long Island National Cemetery, East Farmingdale, Suffolk County, New York, USA. He was one of the brave American paratroopers of the 501st Inf who liberated the village of Eerde, The Netherlands from German forces in September 1944.
