Albert Hunt Bendix was born on November 22, 1916. He served in the 563rd Bomber Squadron, 388th Bomber Group, Heavy as a Second Lieutenant and Navigator of an aircraft during World War II. He died on December 22, 1943 at the age of 27 and is now buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Saddle Brook, Bergen County, New Jersey, USA. Albert was one of the many brave Americans of the 388th Bomber Group who lost their lives in aerial operations against the German forces from June 1943 - August 1945.
