Sam Rosenfeld was born on October 2, 1912. He served in the 322nd Fighter Control Squadron as a Lieutenant and Passenger of an aircraft during World War II. He died on August 23, 1944 at the age of 31 and is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA. 1Lt Rosenfeld was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
