James F. Moore was born on December 10, 1916. He served in the US Air Corps as a First Lieutenant and Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. James died on February 14, 1945 at the age of 28 and is now buried in the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth, Leavenworth County, Kansas, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
