Charles Reuben Breon was born on September 29, 1922. He was married to Virginia Pearl Gummo Breon. Charles served in Battery B, 285th Field Artillery Observation Battalion as a Technician 5th Grade during World War II. Previously was missing, he was Killed in Action on December 17, 1944 at the age of 22 and is now buried in the Centre County Memorial Park, State College, Centre County, Pennsylvania, USA. He was one of the victims of Malmedy massacre near Malmedy, Belgium.
