Charles B. Bierbaum was born on October 6, 1914. He served in the Air Corps as a First Lieutenant and Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. Charles died on August 18, 1944 at the age of 29 and is now buried in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
