Jay W. Anderson was born on July 18, 1921. He served in the 16th Fighter Squadron as a Second Lieutenant. He died on November 6, 1944 at the age of 23 and is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA. He served as an aviator in WWII and was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
