Malcolm P. Alfrey was born on February 9, 1919. He served in the 14th Air Force as a Captain during World War II. Malcolm died on August 23, 1944 at the age of 25 and is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA. He was an aircraft passenger at the time of his death. Malcolm was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
