James A. Adams was born on March 27, 1918. He served in the 491st Bombardment Squadron, 341st Bombardment Group, Medium as a Staff Sergeant. James died on May 23, 1943 in West Bengal India at the age of 25 and is now buried in the Marietta National Cemetery, Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia, USA. He served as an aviator in WWII and was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
