Sardou W. Abrahams was born in 1919. He served as a First Lieutenant and Co-Pilot during World War II. He was killed in an air crash on January 25, 1945 while serving in Army Transport Command, at Lullang, China and is now buried in the Mayfield Cemetery, Cleveland Heights, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA. He and was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
