Ernest Jasper Campbell, aged 20, was born on August 17, 1924 in Hall County, Georgia. He was the son of William Early Campbell and Callie Emaline Evans Campbell. Ernest served in Company D, 134th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 21, 1944 during the battle for liberation of Agincourt, France and is now buried in the Alta Vista Cemetery, Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia, USA.
