Raymond J. Heisler was the son of Ernest Heisler and Katherine Jarosh Heisler. He entered the military service in Wisconsin and served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in the 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on January 30, 1945 and is now buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
