John Donald Plack was born on July 3, 1918 in Peoria County, Illinois. He was the son of Philip Plack and Mae Ellen Doran Plack. He died on September 20, 1944 in Germany at the age of 26 and is now buried in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Kickapoo (Oak Hill), Peoria County, Illinois, USA.
