John Dennis Aderhold was born on September 1, 1922. He was the son of John Dennis Aderhold and Minnie Camilla Holland Aderhold. John entered the military service in Georgia and served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on November 26, 1944 in Germany and is now buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium. He also has a cenotaph located in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Graveyard, Douglas County, Georgia, USA.
