Clarence P. Hoimberg, Jr. was born on January 7, 1925 in Ridgway, Elk County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Clarence J. Holmberg and Hazel B. Dunkle Holmberg. Clarence served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in Company L, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on June 9, 1944 at the age of 19 in France and is now buried in Fairview Cemetery, Ridgway, Elk County, Pennsylvania, USA.
