Frank F. Debellis was born on June 4, 1923. He was the son of Vincenzo J. Debellis and Ortenzia Labagnara DeBellis. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on June 6, 1944 during the invasion on Omaha Beach, France at the age of 21 and is now buried in Saint Mary Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA.
