Frederic Drew Day was born on August 28, 1893. He enlisted in the Army in July 1916 in the First Corps Cadets, Boston. Later he became a Sergeant in Company A of the 101st Engineer Regiment, 26th Infantry Division. He died of meningitis in France on January 22, 1918 and is now buried in St. Mihiel American Cemetery, Thiaucourt, France.
