Edward Payson Wing, Jr. was born on November 3, 1891 in Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Edward Payson Wing and Harriet Maria Lufkin Wing. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in Company B, 102nd Machine Gun Battalion, 26th Infantry Division. He died on April 20, 1918 in France at the age of 26 and is now buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts, USA.
