Private Ralph Lee Henry was born on Mar. 18, 1894. He enlisted in Co. C, 1st Vt. Inf. in Ft. Ethan Allen on June 18, 1917. He was transferred to Hqrs. Co. of the 101st Machine Gun Battalion, 26th Infantry Division on Aug. 27. He was transferred to Co. B on Apr. 1, 1918. He was engaged in Chemin des Dames, Toul, Champagne-Marne and Aisne-Marne. He was killed by shell-fire near Sacerie Farm north of Château-Thierry on July 22, 1918 and is now buried in Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et- Nesles, France.
