Kenneth Sinclair Murray Finlayson was born on November 23, 1894 in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. He entered the military service in Connecticut and served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 101st Machine Gun Battalion, 26th Infantry Division. He died on October 14, 1918 and is now buried in Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial, Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, Departement de la Meuse, Lorraine, France.
