Roger Wilson was born on February 22, 1902 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. He enlisted in the Army on October 2, 1916 in Connecticut and served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Battery F, 103rd Field Artillery Regiment, 26th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on April 20, 1918 in France at the age of 16 and is now buried in St. Mihiel American Cemetery, Thiaucourt, France.
