Henry M. Mann was born on October 7, 1898 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 103rd Field Artillery Regiment, 26th Infantry Division. He died on November 16, 1918 in Pontigny, France at the age of 20 and is now buried in St. Mihiel American Cemetery, Thiaucourt, France.
