Edward C. Lyons was born in 1892 in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He enlisted in the Army on June 16, 1917 in New Haven, CT. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Battery E, 103rd Field Artillery Regiment, 26th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on July 23, 1918 and is now buried in Aisne-Marne American Cem., Belleau, France.
