Clarence F. Kelley was born on January 25, 1895. He was the son of Eola L. Fletcher Kelley. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Battery D, 103rd Field Artillery Regiment, 26th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on April 13, 1918 at the age of 23 and is now buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA.
