Frank Patrick Gordon (born Francis) was born on December 12, 1892 in Clarecastle, County Clare, Ireland. He enlisted in the Army on June 19, 1917 in New Haven, CT and served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in the 103rd Field Artillery Regiment, 26th Infantry Division. He died on April 20, 1918 and is now buried in St. Mihiel American Cemetery, Thiaucourt, France.
