Peyton Cady Randolph was born on November 27, 1894 in Evansville, Rock County, Wisconsin. He was the son of John Milton Randolph. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 102nd Field Artillery Regiment, 26th Infantry Division. He died on October 18, 1918 at the age of 23 and is now buried in Musselshell Cemetery, Musselshell County, Montana, USA.
