Alfred A. Collins was born in 1896. He was the son of Timothy Collins and Phoébé Davignon Collins. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 102nd Field Artillery Regiment, 26th Infantry Division. He died on October 19, 1918 and is now buried in Sacred Heart New Cemetery, New Bedford, Bristol County, Massachusetts, USA.
