George E. Coburn was born in 1894. He was the son of George Coburn and Matilda M. Jordan Coburn. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 102nd Field Artillery Regiment, 26th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on June 17, 1918 in Xivray, France and is now buried in North Burial Ground, Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island, USA.
