Joseph W. “Joe” Zwinge was born in 1897 in Massachusetts. He was a graduate of Arlington High School attended Worcester Academy. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 101st Field Artillery Regiment, 26th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action in April 1918 in France and is now buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA.
