George Francis Schindler was born on April 8, 1896. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on July 18, 1918 in Meurcy Farm in France at the age of 22 and is now buried in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, North Easton, Bristol County, Massachusetts, USA.
