Charles Joseph Regan was born on March 20, 1891. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in HQ Company, 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on July 22, 1918 from machine gun wounds in Belleau, France at the age of 27 and is now buried in Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA.
